Well, to all of you who "would not donate via Go fund Me..." and to those who have been "very reluctant to use GofundMe" I now fully understand. It has been ALL THESE DAYS and GofundMe continues to DELAY BY NOT PROCESSING the distribution of the funds raised. GofundMe has been holding the money, (making interest?) and their process to set up the bank transfer NEVER WORKS. (repeated attempts and emails over weeks now) I have followed their "terms of use" AND replied to their email request and the transfers NEVER GET SET UP. GoFundMe has not replied to resolve the sites issues and continuous "lock ups" preventing the process from completing. NO REPLIES over many days now. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE with many fundraisers, some are LIFE OR DEATH needs... and here GoFundMe is FAILING AT THE MOST BASIC LEVEL OF THEIR BUSINESS MODEL AND REPRESENTATION TO THE DONORS AND THE ORGANIZER. Hey GoFundMe, are you going to delay until the bombs are falling on their heads?? If Katya and her mother are killed do you just keep the funds since there will be no need any longer?? I will be seeking out other platforms and will keep you all up to date...
IN THE MEANTIME, I have sent $500 so far (even though I have not received a penny from this platform)
