Southern Bank is partnering with Wayne County for a FREE Community Shred-A-Thon at the Peggy Seegars Senior Center on Saturday, October 24, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (or until trucks are full). This event makes it easy to safely dispose of sensitive documents.

This is a drive-thru event — just pull up, and our volunteers will unload your boxes or bags for you. Easy as that! A few things to know before you come:

• Each vehicle is limited to 5 banker’s boxes or medium-sized bags
• This event is for individuals only (not businesses)
• Excludes plastics such as credit cards, CDs, and binders
• Drivers should remain in their vehicle throughout
