Wow, it's hard to believe that it's been two years since I took a leap of faith from a comfortable corporate job to the unknown world of P&C insurance. It's been a constant journey of learning, a masterclass in problem-solving, and a deeply rewarding experience. Here's what I've learned:

1. Exceptional customer service drives everything. I've learned that going the extra mile, whether with a same-day response, a detailed explanation, or just a simple check-in, is the single most effective way to stand out. It's the foundation of a strong book of business.

2. Always be a student. From staying current on new endorsements and policy forms to understanding emerging risks, the learning never stops. I've learned to embrace this constant evolution, knowing that my commitment to being well-educated is what truly serves my clients.

3. Relationships are everything. The connections I've built with adjusters, underwriters, and other agents in my community, as well as trusted referral partners, have been invaluable for problem-solving and finding the best solutions for clients.
