Big update: I’ve officially moved on from my time with New York Life.

After building a strong foundation over the past few years, I’ve made the decision to return to Lincoln Investment—a place that has always felt like home. What drew me back most was the opportunity to work alongside people I trust and consider friends and family.

In many ways, this is a full-circle moment for me. I’m coming back with more experience, a growing client base, and a clear vision of the business I’m continuing to build. Because of that, I’m now able to be more intentional and selective about who I work with—focusing on relationships with people I know, trust, and enjoy helping.

With a background in both banking and insurance, I focus on helping individuals and families with protection, capital appreciation, and wealth transfer strategies. I’ll continue working in life insurance while also expanding into broader financial planning and wealth management services.

PUBLIC NOTICE: NEW E‑BIKE RULES NOW IN EFFECT IN NEW JERSEY

New Jersey has enacted new statewide e‑bike safety regulations, creating some of the strictest standards in the country following multiple serious and fatal crashes.

🚨 What You Need to Know

🔑 Licensing, Registration & Insurance Are Now Required

Most e‑bike riders must now have:

A valid driver’s license (age 17+) or motorized bicycle license (age 15+)
State registration for the e‑bike
Insurance coverage
Riders have six months to comply before fines begin.
License and registration fees are waived for the first year.

🔄 E‑Bike Classifications Have Changed

New Jersey has eliminated the old three‑tier system and now regulates all e‑bikes more uniformly — but the definitions still matter. The law identifies:

1️⃣ Low‑Speed Electric Bikes

Pedal‑assist
Motor stops assisting at 20 mph

2️⃣ Motorized Bikes

Throttle‑controlled
Max speed 28 mph

3️⃣ Electric Motorized Bicycles

Can exceed 28 mph
Typically higher‑powered, similar to mopeds

➡️ Under the new law, ALL of these categories now require licensing, registration, and insurance.

👧 Age Restrictions

Under 15: Not permitted to operate low‑speed or motorized e‑bikes.
Ages 15–16: Motorized bicycle license required.
17+: Standard driver’s license required.
16‑year‑olds may rent low‑speed e‑bikes only through approved municipal programs

🛑 Sales Restrictions

Online e‑bike sales are banned for one year statewide.
Modification kits that convert low‑speed bikes into more powerful models are now illegal.
