We are receiving more and more calls asking for short term "payday" type loans. While we don't want to turn away business, and we feel for persons in such a tight spot, we are not lenders, so the pay day loan industry is safe with FamilyTreeLoans not encroaching its turf.

But we do like to help when we can, to facilitate family and friend loans as needed.

JPMorganChase remembered it today, with a $13 billion settlement to rid itself of pesky further regulatory matters as related to the past mortgage crisis. What did it get for its money? Well, a hefty part of that settlement will be tax deductible for the company. Ask your local Chase Bank teller teller to thank you, taxpayer, for funding its business decision.
