What was Mindy up to this summer? ☀️ A whole lot of fresh air, family time, and making memories! 🤍

This summer, we tried to spend as much time outside as we possibly could, and looking back, I’m so glad we did.

We made memories together at Myrtle Beach, from family time by the ocean to exploring the aquarium. We slowed down and enjoyed the sand and sunshine at Oak Island, spent time along the beautiful New River Trail, and soaked up those simple summer evenings like watching a friend’s soccer game.

Nothing extravagant was needed. Just being outside, exploring new places, and spending time together as a family made this summer special.

These are the days I know I’ll miss someday, so I’m grateful we made the most of them. ☀️🤍

What was Kaylynn up to this summer? ☀️ Let’s just say… A LOT of memories were made! 🤍

We started the summer with a trip to the farm with some of our best friends, and somehow packed SO many special moments into the months that followed.

We watched Gracie dance her heart out at her recital, took a girls trip to Charleston, spent our summer vacation soaking up the sunshine in Destin, and watched Gracie experience her very first trip to the movies. 🎬

But some of my favorite moments were the simple ones. Gracie learned how to swim ALL BY HERSELF this summer, we welcomed our sweet new puppy Winston into the family, and we got to celebrate such a special day watching my sister-in-law get married. 🤍

Looking back, this summer was full of firsts, family, friends, traveling, celebrating, and watching our girl grow right before our eyes.

The big trips were amazing, but I think it’s all the little moments in between that I’ll remember the most.

What has Carmen been up to this summer? 😂 The better question might be… what HASN’T she been up to?!

We kicked off summer literally the day after school let out with a trip to Marco Island, Florida with Elaina, Carley, and friends. By the end of that week, we made our way across the state to Boca Raton to secure Reece’s wedding venue. 💍 Then came engagement pictures, and before we knew it, Reece and I FOUND THE DRESS! 🤍

Stan and I squeezed in a trip to Highlands, NC, Jahreece graduated from BLET and officially started his career as a deputy with the Surry County Sheriff’s Department, and our sweet little JB started spending Wednesdays with us. 🥹

Then July 11th brought one of the BEST parts of our summer… our second grandbaby, sweet Maren, made her arrival! 🩷

We took the girls to Charlotte to see Megan Moroney, packed up the entire family for a week in Hilton Head, and spent plenty of time loving on JB and our new little Mare Bear.

This summer also brought heartbreak as we said goodbye to our Nana, and reminded us once again just how precious time with family really is. 🤍

And now Carley is starting a whole new chapter at MAHS AND made the JV volleyball team! 🏐

WHEW. No wonder I’m tired. 😂

And somehow… that’s only a small portion of what this summer held.

It was busy. It was exciting. It was emotional. It brought new beginnings, big milestones, a new grandbaby, wedding planning, family vacations, celebrations, loss, and a whole lot of time with the people I love most.

I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🤍
