Supporting military families starts with showing up for the moments that matter.

We are proud to support Operation Homefront, one of our America 250 grant recipients, and its mission to serve military families in our communities.

Recently, our associates volunteered at Operation Homefront’s Back-to-School Brigade in Oak Harbor, where 200 military children received backpacks, school supply kits and Walmart gift cards to help them start the school year with confidence. Families also enjoyed complimentary admission to the Pacific Northwest Naval Air Museum.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support and serve alongside organizations like Operation Homefront as they make a meaningful difference for military families across our region.

460 pounds of trash may sound like a lot, but it came from just one mile of Cherry Creek after a recent flash flood swept debris into the waterway.

That's why 21 volunteers came together for our Protect Our Rivers event, spending the afternoon helping restore a cleaner, healthier environment for the wildlife, plants, and people who depend on it.

Their efforts removed 460 pounds of trash from the creek and showed what's possible when people show up for their community. Special thanks to Nick McCallister and Audrey Becker for leading the project.

Back-to-back podium finishes for Hailie Deegan and the No. 16 Columbia Bank team.

After qualifying third, Hailie spent the night battling near the front of the field at All American Speedway and brought home a third-place finish in the NAPA Auto Parts 150. The result marks her second consecutive podium finish as the No. 16 team continues to build momentum.

Congratulations to Hailie and the entire Bill McAnally Racing team on a great night in Roseville.

That’s a wrap on an incredible summer internship program.

Throughout the summer, our interns brought curiosity, fresh ideas and a strong desire to learn to teams across the bank. It’s been rewarding to see them grow, build connections and gain hands-on experience that will serve them well in their careers.

To close out the program, our interns joined Columbia Bank’s executive team for a special lunch, then spent the day volunteering with the Emergency Food Network of Tacoma. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect, connect with leaders and give back to the communities we serve.
