Today is World Mental Health Day.

A few weeks ago, my friend Amy Nordal rode her motorcycle through Morrison, Colorado, during her journey across America on Highway 40. She was riding in memory of her son Johnny, who would have turned 40 this year.

She made it home.

On her way back to Wisconsin from Silver Summit, Utah, her motorcycle broke down. Friends and strangers showed up to help tow and trailer her bike home.

That’s what can happen when you ride for something bigger than yourself.

In this video, Amy shares one of the most personal parts of her story: how Jesus met her in her pain and helped carry her through it.

Amy rides for su***de prevention—for those we have lost and those we can still reach. She has taken unimaginable heartbreak and turned it into a mission to create conversations, offer hope, and help others.

She raised a little over $5,000 for the Center for Su***de Awareness.

Please watch and share Amy’s story today.

Two reasons I love live music:

1. Julie loves live music.
2. The other one might surprise you.

Rather than let 53 men determine my mood this Sunday, I knocked out my 8 hours of mortgage CE.

Sounds boring. It was actually kind of great.

After 24 years, I still believe there’s always more to learn.

Grateful for Sean Lynch and the community they’ve built.

Sunday win. Controlled the controllables.

“Knowledge is pain, understanding is joy.”

I think I’m more comfortable being uncomfortable.

Every time I’ve stretched outside my comfort zone, something has happened.

A new opportunity.
A pivot.
Something learned.
Growth.

Not gonna lie — sometimes it’s exhausting.

But I’ve learned that when I get too comfortable, I get complacent. I eat worse. Exercise less. Stop pushing myself. My brain starts to spiral.

Maybe I don’t need to get comfortable being uncomfortable.

Maybe a little discomfort is where I’m most comfortable.

Still stretching.
