👏 We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible impact of the Operation St. Nick team and the difference they continue to make in our community!

This year, their Christmas in July program provided $41,735 in assistance to 11 local veterans throughout Grundy County.

Even more amazing, that brings their total to 220 veterans helped and $540,340 in aid provided since the summer military program began in 2011.

We are so grateful for the compassion, generosity, and dedication this team shows to our community year-round. 💚

Every year, Operation St. Nick celebrates the time surrounding the 4th of July by providing aid to veterans from around Grundy County; this year, the organization provided $41,735 in aid to 11 veterans.

We are excited to introduce the Grundy Bank Community Impact Scholarship!

We want to recognize TWO outstanding graduating seniors who have made a positive impact in their communities throughout their high school careers.

If you’re a graduating senior from Morris Community High School or Wilmington High School, you’re eligible to apply!

✔️Applications Open: September 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM CT
❌ Applications Close: March 1, 2027 at 11:59 PM CT

💰 Each recipient will receive $500 toward educational expenses for Fall 2027.

🎒 Happy Back-to-School Day! 📚

Many of our local schools are officially back in session, and we’re wishing all of the students, teachers, and staff a successful first day—and an incredible school year ahead! ✨

We’re also happy to support our friends at the Wilmington School District 209-U! Last week, our Marketing Director, Ava Terry, stopped by to deliver a $250 donation to support their Back-to-School program. 💛

Our Wilmington Branch is currently without power and is temporarily closed while repairs are underway.
