Petit Jean State Bank was founded in 1999 by a group of Conway County bankers and business leaders who saw the need for a locally owned and managed bank in Morrilton and Conway County, Arkansas. With the support of more than 300 local investors, the bank opened on February 16, 1999, at 707 North St. Joseph Street — a building that remains its main office today. In 2009, the bank expanded with the
opening of a full-service University Branch at 1620 University Boulevard. Petit Jean State Bank also operates ATMs at both locations and inside CHI St. The bank is independently operated and proudly headquartered in Morrilton. Its mission is to be the premier widely held, independent community financial institution in the region — providing superior service to customers, employees, shareholders, and communities in a safe, sound, and non-discriminatory manner.
