💛💙 Heads up, families! UPD hosts beneficial self-defense sessions periodically throughout the academic year. While WVU is a safe campus, the knowledge and skills stay with your student even when they're away from Morgantown.

💪 Let's go!

UPD will host the first P.R.O.T.E.C.T. self-defense training class of the semester on Sept. 15 from 5 to 9 p.m.

P.R.O.T.E.C.T. is an immersive training that uses hands-on demonstrations to provide participants with the skills needed to recognize a threat, escape an attack, and get to a safe place to call for help. Participants will learn striking techniques, takedowns, and escape holds, and will gain information on developing situational awareness.
