Under the direct supervision of the Vice President for Academic Affairs & Workforce Development, the Academic Success Center (ASC) Director is responsible for implementing student success solutions, including the operation of the ASC in accordance with the policies and procedures of the College and the North Carolina Community College System.

This little cutie temporarily joined the ASC staff today to celebrate WPCC’s Diversability month. Molasses is a certified therapy dog who, along with her human Susan Jones (an ASC staffer), loves to visit with people. She was very helpful greeting students at the front desk and re-shelving books with Ruth Ann.

WPCC will hold Student Resource Day on Wednesday, August 25. Students may drop by between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to get some great information on what the college has to offer. Students can learn about career services, tutoring, transfer options, and much more! SGA and several club preventatives will be on hand to explain how you can get involved. There will be snacks and prizes, too!
