The BIG I day convention has been cancelled. Will the others follow? Unlike the BIG I, these other conventions heavily rely on this event’s revenues for their yearly income. The clock is ticking.

Hey guys and gals. It is unlikely that we will be able to meet at the Big I Trade Show in Sacramento this year or at any other convention for that matter. Until we all know there is an antivirus/cure for this Covid-19, I dont see agents/brokers/vendors feeling comfortable attending a packed convention floor. It is the unknown that will keep most people away this year. Thinking outside the box, these conventions need a Zoom version for agents/brokers to reach the companies and vendors they need to connect.

We all miss each other....I get it. It is a weird time but we need to respect others health during these times. I hope that the convention organizers have an alternative this year. And I hope even more that we get a cure to this virus sooner than later but we also have to be realistic that it may take up to a year from now for the antivirus to be found and distributed to the tune of a billion treatments. It takes time to produce this gameplan and to execute it.

We are lucky that we are essential during these times. I'm in here 6 days/week answering questions and writing new business. Quite a few referrals are coming thru as many clients are looking to save money on their insurance needs. Answer the phone and write some business! This too shall pass. Miss you all!
