The Vine on Main Brings a New Kind of Event Experience to Downtown Morehead
Historic character, thoughtful design and a major investment in community come together at 169 East Main Street
MOREHEAD, Ky. — Something new is taking root in the heart of downtown Morehead.
Opening in September 2026, The Vine on Main is a reimagined historic event venue created by owners Bo and Leigh Ann Lambert and Joe and Jessica Snedegar.
For Leigh Ann Lambert and Jessica Snedegar, both deeply connected to the bridal industry, the vision for a beautiful downtown gathering space had been growing for years. After seeing what was available in larger cities, one question kept coming back:
Why not here? Why not our own community?
Together with their husbands, that vision became an investment in downtown Morehead — restoring a historic building, preserving its character and creating something completely new for Eastern Kentucky.
Inside, original brick, live greenery, carefully selected finishes and thoughtful architectural details create a space that feels elevated, distinctive and timeless.
Guests can move between an airy Atrium, an elevated Loft overlook and a private Courtyard featuring a striking black-and-white floor and fountain. Each space offers its own atmosphere while remaining part of one cohesive venue.
The Vine on Main was created for far more than weddings. The venue will host rehearsal dinners, showers, reunions, private dinners, receptions, business meetings, conferences, corporate gatherings, community events and celebrations of every kind.
“We wanted to create something that felt special the moment you walked through the door — something you might expect to find in a larger city, but right here at home,” the ownership team said. “This is an investment in the community we love, and we want The Vine on Main to be a place where people celebrate, gather, do business and create memories for years to come.”
For the Lamberts and Snedegars, The Vine on Main is more than a business venture. It is a commitment to downtown growth, preserving local history and creating new opportunities in the community they call home.
The Vine on Main is rooted in history, growing through community and built for what comes next.
The Vine on Main will celebrate its opening with a community ribbon cutting on Friday, September 25 at noon at 169 East Main Street in downtown Morehead. Guests are invited to tour the venue, meet the owners and experience The Vine on Main firsthand. Light bites will be provided.
