Broad Street Clinic

The Broad St. Clinic is a chronic care clinic treating the four chronic disease of diabetes, high blood pressure, heart and/or lung disease. Patients must qualify for the DAP, Drug Assistance Program, which requires that they meet with a patient advocate, present their current financial data, and if their income falls at or below 200% for the Federal poverty level, then their medications are provi

ded by the Pharmaceutical companies, free of charge. All of these requirements to qualify for the DAP program must be reviewed by the patient advocates with the patients on an annual basis. The Clinic is open Monday through Thursday. We close on Fridays in an effort to keep our electric bill as low as possible. Tuesdays are patient days when volunteer Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Nurses work up and see patients. It is not unusual for seventy patients to be seen on a first come, first served basis between 10:00 am and frequently as late as 8 pm each Tuesday. Thursday is Pharmacy day when our wonderful volunteer Pharmacy manager, Dick Gray, frequently arrives before 6 am to prepare 500 prescriptions for on average 150 patients. Pharmacy hours are from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and then 1:30 to 4 pm. We carry no Class II narcotics; the strongest medication we carry is 800 mg of Ibuprofen. Other monthly clinics provided through the clinic to existing patients ONLY:
- GYN clinic
- Mental Health clinic
- Eye Clinic
- Dental Clinic (cleanings only at this time)
- Foot Clinic

🦷 Calling All Dentists! 🦷
Our clinic is urgently seeking volunteer dentists to help make an upcoming Dental Day possible. Even one day of your time can make a lasting impact on patients in our community who may otherwise go without needed dental care.
Your skills and compassion can help provide relief, restore confidence, and improve overall health for so many individuals who rely on our clinic’s services.
If you are willing to volunteer, please call the clinic and ask for Stephanie. If you’re unable to help directly, sharing this post with a dentist or dental professional who may be interested would mean so much to us.
Together, we can continue making care accessible to those who need it most. đź’™

Men tend to put their health on the back burner — until something forces their attention.
From skipping routine screenings to ignoring subtle warning signs, there are many health concerns that often go overlooked until it’s too late. Your health deserves attention before a problem becomes an emergency.
May is Men’s Health Month, and this is your reminder to stop putting off appointments and start taking a proactive approach to your well-being. Regular checkups, preventive screenings, and listening to your body can make all the difference.
Taking care of yourself now isn’t just important — it’s necessary. Your health matters to you, your family, and the people who count on you every day. 💙
