Meet Annie Ward — MB's Marketing Intern joining us this summer from the University of Dayton, where she’s studying Communications Management with minors in Business Administration and Marketing. 📑

Annie has big goals (future CMO, anyone?) and is excited to put her classroom knowledge into real-world experience. She was drawn to MB’s welcoming culture, positive energy, and the opportunity to learn from professionals who are passionate about what they do.

When she’s not building her marketing skills, you can find her trying out new recipes (her words, not ours: proceed with caution), planning a trip to the Sundance Film Festival with her dad, or channeling her inner Hannah Montana. 🎙️

We’re excited to have Annie on the team this summer. Welcome to MB, Annie!

As spring turns to summer, our MBers are finding fun ways to get out of the office and spend time together through team bonding activities. Our Strategic Accounts team visited Smash Park for an afternoon full of axe throwing, pickleball, darts, co****le, karaoke, arcade games, and even a murder mystery challenge. Meanwhile, our Resources Team headed to Scene75 Entertainment Center where MBers took on laser tag, bumper cars, and mini golf and our Indy team enjoyed the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the afternoon. It's safe to say, we may have a competitive bunch on our hands!

We couldn't be prouder of the path that brought us here, one built on shared belief that employee ownership creates better outcomes for everyone, that clients deserve partners who are truly invested in their success and that the communities we work in deserve companies that give back.

This partnership is proof that like-minded organizations, built on the right foundation, can do more together than apart.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has finalized important Medicare Part D creditable coverage updates that employers should begin preparing for now.

Starting in 2027, certain account-based plans — including HRAs, ICHRAs, FSAs and HSAs — will be exempt from annual creditable coverage notices and CMS reporting requirements. At the same time, the actuarial value threshold used to determine whether prescription drug coverage is considered “creditable” will increase from 72% to 73%.

While carriers and PBMs will likely manage much of the actuarial analysis, employers should still review their compliance processes and ensure required notices and reporting remain on track.
