At our MC Cash for College event, our Financial Aid experts will help you apply for free money to use for college. This is not a loan-it's free money that you can use for tuition, books, housing, transportation, childcare, computers, and more! Yes, there are low-interest loans and work-study funds available too, but much of what is awarded is not a loan. Sat, March 1. 8:30am-12:30pm Fountain Hall 7075 Campus Rd., Moorpark.

Funds are available for Moorpark College students who have been directly affected by the recent fires – loss of home or residence, car, personal belongs.

To access funding use the PDF form to apply through financial aid (this will not affect current financial aid).

The Foundation will review the form and reach out to you.

🚨UPDATE: TUESDAY JANUARY 22, 10PM

Online/hybrid Classes – will resume Thursday, January 23.
In-person classes are transitioning to online options for the remainder of this week (Thursday 01/23/25 & Friday 01/24/25. Please check Canvas and your emails for updates from your instructor.

For information regarding availability of services such as financial aid, admissions & records, and academic counseling, please visit our Moorpark College website. We will send an update by 5PM, Friday, January 24.

The widespread power outage at Moorpark College from Southern California Edison’s Public Safety Power Shutoff is expected to continue through Tuesday, January 14.

Campus will remain closed Tuesday, January 14. An update will be provided by 6PM, Tuesday, January 14.
No in-person or online instruction or services will be available until power is restored.

We are currently monitoring a red flag warning involving high winds in the area, which may result in power outages on campus. At this time, the college remains open, and all classes and services are operating as scheduled. However, we want to ensure you are prepared in case conditions worsen. We are closely coordinating with local authorities and utility providers. Should the situation necessitate a change in operations, we will notify you promptly.

Please check your email, the college website, or our official social media channels for the latest information. An update will be provided tomorrow 12/10/24 by 6:30 AM or sooner if conditions change.
