Yesterday, our Citizens Bank Indiana team rolled up our sleeves for the 30th annual United Way of Johnson County, Indiana Day of Caring.

We spent the day at Resources of Hope Inc. in Whiteland helping refresh and organize winter items for children in foster care. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support Resources of Hope and be part of a community-wide effort that brings local businesses and volunteers together to make a difference.

Looking for a way to support children and families in our community? Resources of Hope accepts walk-in donations on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donations can be dropped off at: 309 E Main St., Ste. B, Whiteland, IN 46184.

Thank you to United Way of Johnson County for organizing another meaningful Day of Caring and to Resources of Hope for the important work you do for children and families in our community.

What a weekend it was for the 12th annual Dancing With the Johnson County Stars!

The event brought the community together at the The Historic Artcraft Theatre in Franklin and raised a record-breaking $339,881.05 to benefit eight local nonprofit organizations.

We were especially proud to have our very own Wendy McClellan take the stage, representing Citizens Bank Indiana and UpLift Johnson County. Her participation made the evening even more special, and we’re grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s event such a tremendous success.

An evening filled with great conversations, a little friendly competition, and a meaningful cause.

Our team attended the Desert Rose Foundation, Inc. “Dreams Come True” Gala on September 11th at The Sycamore at Mallow Run in Bargersville. We had a great time meeting and speaking with others in the community, enjoying the silent and live auctions, and celebrating the important work Desert Rose Foundation does.

And a special congratulations to Nicole Kaiser, who helped our team bring home the win in the scavenger hunt!

We’re grateful to have been part of such a meaningful evening supporting an organization making a difference in the lives of local survivors.
