Our fourth and final recipient for the teacher supply “wishlist” gift card giveaway (as determined by your nominations) is Bethany Hedrick Whetzel, Business CTE teacher at Pendleton County High School. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Bethany graduated from Petersburg High School and has a bachelors degree from West Virginia Wesleyan. She also holds a masters degree in accounting.

She says one of the best things about teaching is being able to prepare students for career paths in business whether it be through continuing to college or entering the work force from high school. She also prepares them for life in the “real world” by teaching them about personal finance, budgeting, taxes, balancing their accounts and other valuable life lessons.

When Bethany isn’t teaching she coaches middle school boys basketball and she and her husband are involved in their sons many activities such as 4H, FFA, fairs and farming.

Congratulations Bethany! Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the children in our community. We hope you have a fabulous school year!

Our third of four winners for the teacher supply “wishlist” gift card giveaway (as determined by your nominations) is Haley Myers, teacher at Maysville Elementary School. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Haley is a sixth grade teacher. She has been teaching six years and this is her second year teaching sixth grade. She graduated from Petersburg High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Shepherd University.

She says one of the best things about teaching is the “aha moment” when you can see they understand what they are learning and seeing their excitement in learning something new.

When Haley isn’t teaching she spends her time with her family and her nine month old son SJ. She also enjoys spending time camping and crafting.

Congratulations Haley! Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the children in our community. We hope you have a wonderful school year!

Our second of four winners for the teacher supply “wishlist” gift card giveaway (as determined by your nominations) is Lauren Elizabeth Dolan, teacher at Petersburg Elementary School. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Lauren is a second grade teacher. She graduated from Moorefield High School and received her bachelor’s degree from WGU. She says one of the best things about teaching is watching the accomplishments of her students and seeing how much growth they have made by the end of the school year.

When Lauren isn’t teaching she spends her time being a great Mom to her daughter, Arianna. She also enjoys going to church and spending time with family and friends.

Our first of four recipients for the teacher supply “wishlist” gift card giveaway (as determined by your nominations) is Ashton Frame, kindergarten teacher, at East Hardy Elementary School. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This is Ashton’s first year of full time teaching. She graduated from East Hardy High School and received her college degree from WVU.

She says one of the best things about teaching is being able to inspire curiousity in children and to set their foundation in learning.

When Ashton isn’t teaching she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, her family and her friends. It appears she may have some wedding planning going on too! 😉

It takes more than just being knowledgeable and professional to do a good job at this office. It’s also about the ability to work together as part of a team and to genuinely care about others. Our team cares about our community, this area and our customers. Caring and kindness are at the very core of what makes this job meaningful for us. It isn’t just about answering the phone, shuffling people in out, and pushing papers for us. It’s about providing excellent service, filling the need with the right coverage and product and helping people when they need us. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and the long term relationships we have made with so many of you. We also look forward to building new relationships with our new customers.

This month we want to celebrate our team member, Judy Borror, who this August will be celebrating 31 years of caring and outstanding service here at Judy M Ball - State Farm Agent.
