June is National Homeownership Month—a time to recognize what homeownership means to millions of Americans.🇺🇸

It's more than a roof and four walls. For many families, it's where milestones happen. First steps, first dinners around your own table, the feeling of pulling into a driveway that's yours.🏠

According to a 2025 Coldwell Banker survey, 85% of Americans still consider owning a home a key part of the American Dream.✨

That says something.

Whether you've owned for decades or you're still working toward it, this month is about honoring that aspiration and the meaning behind it. 🏡

June marks Men's Health Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of men's health and encouraging the men in our lives to take charge of their well-being.🏃‍♂️ Whether it's making healthier lifestyle choices, scheduling regular check-ups, or simply taking time to relax and unwind, every step counts towards a healthier future.⏳

Here are a few ways you can prioritize your health this month:

✅Schedule a Health Check-up: Regular visits to your healthcare provider can help catch potential health issues early. Use this month as a reminder to book any overdue appointments.
✅Stay Active: Incorporate physical activity into your daily routine. Whether it's a brisk walk, a bike ride, or a workout session, staying active is crucial for maintaining physical and mental health.
✅Eat Well: Focus on a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Eating well is fundamental to feeling good and staying healthy.
✅Manage Stress: Practice stress-reducing techniques such as meditation, deep breathing exercises, or yoga. Taking time for yourself is essential for mental health.
✅Connect with Others: Don't underestimate the power of social connections. Spend time with friends and family, or reach out to someone you haven't spoken to in a while.

Let's make this Men's Health Month a time to commit to better health practices and support the men in our lives on their journey to wellness.🌅 Together, we can make a difference.🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Wishing you a healthy and fulfilling June!💪☀️

On the first Sunday in June, we celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day.

The Foundation rallies its forces and resources to promote National Cancer Survivors Day in the U.S. and worldwide, as it has done since 1988. The NCSD Foundation bills the holiday as a “celebration of life” where survivors — described as anyone who has a history of the disease, from the point of diagnosis through the remainder of life — gather with friends, families, and supporters to raise awareness, spread information, provide services, and honor other survivors, all to show that life after a cancer diagnosis can be full and fruitful.

The nonprofit National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation rallies its forces and resources to promote the cause.

In honor of World Bicycle Day, here are a few images of our team members enjoying a ride!🚴

Getting your first bicycle and learning how to ride it is a rite of passage for almost all of us. Despite the marks and scabs from falling from our bicycles while learning, it is a memory we always cherish. Bicycling is quite a useful activity — in the hustle and bustle of today’s world, bicycling allows us to exercise our muscles, cut back on fuel consumption as it is quite a popular alternative to driving a car, and feel the wind in our hair. Really, there is nothing quite like the exhilaration of riding a bicycle.

World Bicycle Day acknowledges this and the durability and longevity of the bicycle. Providing a simple and sustainable means of transportation, bicycling is rejuvenating for our physical- and mental health, and good for the economy, and the environment.

Get outside and enjoy a ride today!🚴

Retirement gives you time.

A lot of it.

And while that sounds freeing, it can also feel overwhelming at first.

When you're working, much of your day is structured. In retirement, you decide what today looks like.

Some people find it helps to create a little rhythm:
▪️A weekly volunteer day
▪️Lunch with friends
▪️A standing class
▪️Mornings reserved for exercise or hobbies

Not to recreate work — just to have something to look forward to.

Freedom often feels better with a little shape.

"We had a good day on the bikes with mostly cross winds and tail winds. It got quite hot this afternoon, but on a positive note, today was 90 degrees and tomorrow’s high will be 65 degrees. It looks like we should have good winds tomorrow with a chance of rain."

"This afternoon, we biked across a plateau where there were miles of peat bogs that people were harvesting for heating their homes. There are pictures of the dried peat that were in their barns, where it would stay dry until needed."

"We are going to have dinner this evening with one of Don's distant cousins. Don's great-grandfather lived near here, and we will bike through his hometown tomorrow." ~Kevin

That yellow section? That's money you never saved, your money made it for you.

This is compound interest in action. Start with $1,000/year at a hypothetical 5 percent return, and by year 30, you've built nearly $70,000. But the real story is the yellow: Interest earning interest.

Year 1: almost no interest at all.
Year 30: the interest on your interest alone might cover a year of car payments (or more).

You don't need to invest more. You need to stay focused on your strategy. What's one financial habit you wish you'd started earlier? Drop it below. 👇

"Great weather, and we finally got to bike in shorts and no jacket for a while. A little cloud cover occasionally really helped. We started the morning by biking to the Kilkee cliffs, where I was reminded of Dan‘s fear of heights. Met Jourie, who was showing me how he prepares the peat for drying and transporting home to heat his house this next winter." ~Kevin
