Severe weather preparedness:
1. Know where you will shelter.
*If you don't have a basement, talk to your neighbors and make arrangements in advance.
2. Secure loose items outdoors (kids' toys, patio furniture, etc)
3. Move away from large trees & put your cars away.
4. Crate your pets.
5. Have your phone charged.
6. Pack an emergency bag with your medicine, a change of clothes, wallet & keys.
7. After the storms pass, take care of your neighbors & help clean up damage.

What a weekend! There was so much to be cleaned up in our area from the storm Thursday evening. The electric company crews worked hard to restore power. There were so many trees wrapped in wire! The tree companies did a great job of prioritizing the jobs based on severity.
Let us know if you have coverage questions based on the amount of damage you ended up now that the trees are out of the way.

Because...Why can't we JUST enjoy a beautiful warm day 🤦‍♀️!
This evening, Thursday 3/26/26, secure everything you don't want to blow away or get pummeled by hail!
As always, if you do suffer damage, there are important steps to take before deciding to file a claim:
-Protect from further damage by covering any large holes
-Take pictures of everything
-Get an estimate for repair of the damaged areas (generally not full replacement)
-Know your deductible (call us or look it up)

I got to return to the classroom this morning for 4 hours to present Junior Achievement in a Day to the ABSOLUTE BEST 1st Grade class at Meadowlawn!! 🎉
