Hopefully everyone stayed safe tonight in the storms.

However, if you have damage that you need to discuss I will be in the office most of tomorrow and probably Sunday depending on how many claims come in tomorrow.

Early reports show the most damage in the Ryan, Prairieburg, & Castle Grove area as it looks like it was heading southeast from Ryan on its way to Hale (it’s hard to judge where the storm fizzled out based on claims at this point.)

My cell phone is on all weekend at 319-480-7868.

Please make sure if you end up needing to replace your roof that you use a UL3 or UL4 shingle as it’s going to save you money on your insurance moving forward (for homeowners.)

Also, with the amount of claims out there, some people (with other companies) may not have replacement cost on their roof; however, if you are a State Farm homeowner you are going to have replacement cost benefits coming back to you once the work is repaired. So keep in mind when you are done with your repairs to turn in final receipts because you have replacement cost coverage.

7-11-25 wind damage:

Initial reports appear to show mostly wind damage /or tree damage that struck a building/house.

If you think you have damage/need to file a claim feel free to call the office and leave a voicemail as I will be working all of tomorrow but the phones are rolled over to our after-hours partners.

Unless you have holes in your roof or an immobile vehicle please call us or send photos before filing a claim as we may be able to cut your check directly out of the office if your damage is under $10,000.
