Walden Savings Bank: Mortgage Lending Team

09/21/2026

Our Mortgage Team has been out and about in the community! 🏡

From seeing familiar faces at the Hudson Valley’s biggest real estate event of the year and at Garnet Health, to volunteering with the Regional Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, to attending another great Mid-Hudson Valley Mortgage Bankers Association Installation Dinner, our team has been busy connecting, giving back, and supporting the communities we serve.

Whether we’re volunteering, networking, or supporting local events, we’re always glad to be out in our community. If you see our team out and about, be sure to stop by and say hi! 👋

A huge thank you to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh for the kind words and for the amazing work you do every day. We're proud of Ana Tranchina and grateful for the opportunity to help local families take the next step toward homeownership. 🏠

Meet Ana Tranchina.

She's a Mortgage Loan Officer at Walden Savings Bank who's been working alongside Habitat Greater Newburgh to make sure every future homeowner is ready for what comes next.

Ana knows that the key to homeownership starts long before closing day. 🔑

Ana leads homeownership readiness workshops that walk prospective home buyers through what building financial strength really looks like and she says the moments she carries with her most are when she sees someone in class finally "get it."

Ana calls the whole experience "wonderful" and "humbling" and we call her an essential part of how Habitat Newburgh's mission moves forward.

Thank you, Ana for your commitment to the Habitat mission and the families of Greater Newburgh.

Mortgage Loan Originator, Tracy Mackey recently attended the Orange County Home Show at SUNY Orange and had the opportunity to connect with community members and partners alike. While there, she ran into Michael Christophides, owner of a local inspection business and one of the few licensed Radon Consultants in the Hudson Valley. Always great to see familiar faces out in the community!
