The new award is the Comptroller’s Office’s highest recognition for financial excellence among Tennessee local governments. It celebrates cities, counties, metropolitan governments, and utilities that demonstrate a strong commitment to sound financial management, accountability, transparency, and fiscal responsibility.

Of the six recipients, Jackson Thornton is honored to serve three of them. Congratulations! 🍾
