Fun fact of the day:
Rental insurance and home insurance are two different things!
Shocking, we know 😉
Allow us to clear things up:
Simply put, rental insurance provides coverage for losses and damages to a renter’s property. It doesn’t cover the actual building in which they’re renting.
Home insurance, on the other hand, provides coverage for losses and damages due to unexpected perils. These are things like flooding, fire, or theft.
Home insurance is for the property owner — whether they own a house or an apartment. It covers the physical property itself and the personal belongings they have inside.
Understand their differences, ask questions, and pick the policy that’s right for you and your needs!
