I know my Mother would be SO PROUD of me. ❤️🙏🏾

Not simply because of an award, a plaque or an accomplishment—but because I was willing to take a risk outside of my norm to provide for my family, create something of my own and become an example for my children and for others who come from where I come from.

A kid from Canton, Ohio who learned early that where you START does not determine where GOD can take you.

I spent most of my professional life in corporate America. Walking away from what was familiar and betting on myself was a RISK. But sometimes GOD will make you uncomfortable enough to move you toward the assignment He already prepared for you.

And there is one person I have to publicly acknowledge.

My Sister is a very private person, but I want to publicly say THANK YOU to Desaral Neal. ❤️

Thank you for introducing me to this opportunity to SERVE.

Thank you for inspiring me through your own journey to take a risk.

Thank you for surrounding me with your network of support.

But most importantly…

Thank you for simply BELIEVING IN ME. ☝🏾

Sometimes one person seeing something in you can help you see what GOD has already placed inside of you.

I also thank my wife, my amazing kids, my Grandma, my Sister, my Brother, my loving Aunts, my family by blood OR love, my friends—my Brothers and Sisters—my community and every one of my valued customers who has trusted, supported, encouraged and prayed for me along this journey. ❤️

I carry ALL of you with me.

And most importantly, I thank my Father who art in Heaven—GOD. 🙏🏾

My Mother didn’t get the opportunity to see this chapter with her earthly eyes, but everything she poured into me helped prepare the man who was willing to take this risk.

And THAT may be what would make her most proud. ❤️

I wanted my children to see that even after decades of success, you can still start over. You can still take a risk. You can still build something. And you can still become an example for somebody who grew up where you grew up and needs to SEE that it can be done.

I officially received my State Farm Honor Club plaque, and I am extremely grateful for this recognition.

First, THANK YOU to State Farm for the opportunity, the recognition and for providing me with a platform to do what I truly love—serve, educate and protect families.

But most importantly, THANK YOU to every single one of our valued customers. ☝🏾

Every phone call. Every referral. Every policy. Every review. Every person who trusted Tommy Woods State Farm with protecting what matters most to them—you helped make this possible.

Awards and plaques are great, but the REAL reward is knowing that families throughout our communities are better protected and financially prepared because they trusted my Team and me.

We don’t take that trust lightly.
