I want to take this opportunity to put the spotlight on our team member Matt Scoletti. Last year, Matt tore his calf muscle attempting this 12 mile swim, 560 mile bike, and 131 mile run Quintuple Anvil event. He trained harder and came back stronger to complete the event and take 3rd place Overall in 2024 in Wisconsin. Congratulations on the impressive feat!

There has been a lot of mixed reviews about Biden's loan forgiveness plan.

The bottom line is this, it has been harder for student loan borrowers to tackle goals like saving for a house, expanding their families, and saving for retirement.

There are solutions to this dilemma listed in this article.

If you cannot make your payments? Speak with your federal or private student loan provider right away.

If you are able to make your payments, pay your loans regularly and on time. When you are able, pay more than the minimum.

Last week was mostly spent out of the office in Charleston, SC.

One of the highlights from the trip was riding horses on the beach. This was my favorite past time for a few years when I was much younger. Then, as life would have it, I got involved in other activities.

Getting back on the saddle put me in such a meditative state as I was reacquainting myself with the rhythms and flows of riding a horse again.

In my early years in the financial services, there were murmurs of women taking on a huge role in their family's generational wealth. Ten years later, the numbers speak for themselves, and they deserve the limelight.

-Women control a 3rd of total U.S. household assets
-As of 2021, 30% of women hold director roles on the boards of S&P 500 companies

Despite this progress, underinvesting remains the norm among women investors.

As a woman, I cannot express enough how important it is for us to fill our cup. You do this in other ways like doing a workout first thing in the morning, or you take some quiet time for yourself while the children are at school. Why not do this with your money?
