When he’s not in his office, he and his wife enjoy hiking and biking, often traveling to explore the beauty of nature and capture its essence in photographs. When David and Kim got married, they didn’t have much—but they had each other, and that was enough.

They built a life together with two kids, a dog, a small house with a big yard.

Then, out of nowhere, cancer came into their lives like a thief in the night.
