🛏️ What an incredible response to our bedding drive! 💙

Thanks to the generosity of our members, employees and community, we collected a great supply of new pillows, twin comforters and twin sheet sets for Sleep in Heavenly Peace - MI, Monroe Co.

A special thank-you to St. Michael the Archangel Parish - Monroe, Michigan and the JNHS students at Monroe Catholic Elementary Schools for organizing their own collections and contributing to our drive! Your efforts helped make an even bigger impact. 💙

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped spread the word. It takes people coming together to make a difference, and we’re grateful for everyone who played a part.

Learning. Connecting. Celebrating. 💙

Our team came together Monday for our annual All Employee Training Day, a day dedicated to growth, connection, and recognition.

From Kim Becking - Momentum Motivation's message on embracing a Momentum Mindset to activities that helped us better understand our individual strengths and communication styles, the day was filled with opportunities to learn, collaborate, and grow. We also kicked off our Philanthropy Playoffs spirit week with the Community Foundation of Monroe County and took time to recharge through a guided meditation session with Mary Beth Wright.

We also celebrated the team members whose dedication and contributions help make our organization stronger every day.

We left inspired, energized, and ready to keep the momentum going as we continue serving our members and community. ✨

🛏️ Building Beds, Building Hope! ❤️

Monroe Community Credit Union recently hosted a bed build on Sunday in support of Sleep in Heavenly Peace - MI, Monroe Co, an organization dedicated to ensuring that no child has to sleep on the floor.

MCNN caught up with Erin Storck of Monroe Community CU and Jacob Krueger of Monroe Erie Youth Advisory Council to learn more about the event and how the community can get involved!

🛏️ Want to help? MCCU is hosting a bedding drive at all Monroe Community Credit Union branches, collecting donations through tomorrow October 9th!

There's still time to make a difference! Stop by your local MCCU branch and help provide children in need with a comfortable place to sleep.

Thank you again to our community partners and everyone who came out to build beds on Sunday.

Don't forget, you can still donate new twin sheets, comforters, and pillows at all MCCU locations until tomorrow! Every Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed is delivered with these items to ensure the child, not only has a bed, but has a comfortable and warm night's sleep.
