Nothing inspires me more than seeing someone work hard for something they want.

Over the past two years my wife has worked tirelessly on receiving her Master’s Degree of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from UNC Charlotte.

She’d spend her days teaching at Monroe High School, and evenings learning remote, often til 8 or 9 at night. She’d regularly spend the weekends reading and writing papers.

I’m so proud of her and the work she’s put in, all to make a difference in the lives of kids in our community.

The coolest thing about folks in Monroe is how much they love their family. This past month I’ve helped several clients map out plans to move closer to family and friends. Knowing I can play a small part in a big life event like that makes work so rewarding.

If you’re a client, you know I love Shark Tank. I think it’s a great way to explain exactly what a stock is and the place they have in our portfolio. Just like the sharks, we own companies with hopes that they will increase their profitability and become more valuable over time.
