Well folks, this post is bittersweet. After careful consideration and much prayer, I’ve decided to become a full time teacher. The office on Hudson Lane will officially close at the end of this year as I’ll handle all business afterward from home. If you are one of my current customers, please know that you played a major part in this decision. The very reason I’m going into a field separate from insurance is so that I can still service your business personally or by someone I know and trust. If I were to work in another area of the insurance/financial sector, I would have been required to give up my entire book due to a possible conflict of interest. By going this route, I can still be your agent and help whenever necessary. I’d like to thank all of those that have helped me along the way such as my wife, family, friends, and Mel Leveque, owner of Apron Agencies. I truly never thought this day would come, but God must have had a different plan. The reason that I feel led to pursue teaching is twofold. As most of you know, I’m currently a youth pastor of some of the greatest kids on the planet. By being a teacher, I’ll be off work when they are out of school, which allows me to be able to take them to camps, conferences, retreats, concerts, and the like. The second reason is because I want to make a difference in young people’s lives. I love you guys and will help in any way I can. And I’m still writing business, so call me if you need anything!
