October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🩷
Breast cancer touches so many families, friendships, workplaces, and communities. This year, Breast Cancer Awareness Month holds an especially personal meaning for all of us at Trowbridge Financial Services.
With her permission, we wanted to share some personal news about one of our own. Amber Busenbark has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment.
Many of our clients know Amber well and have asked about her, checked in, and wondered how she has been doing. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and concern that has been shown to her. As Amber continues through treatment, our entire TFS family continues to surround her with prayers, love, hugs, encouragement, and support.
Approximately 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer during her lifetime. This month, we recognize and support those currently fighting, those who have fought, the survivors, the loved ones providing care and support, and those we have lost.
As insurance agents, we spend a great deal of time helping people prepare for the unexpected. We encourage the women in our lives to take care of themselves, understand their personal risk factors, talk with their healthcare providers, stay current with recommended screenings, and know the resources and options available to them.
To Amber, and to everyone facing breast cancer right now: you are in our thoughts, you are surrounded by people who care about you, and you do not walk this road alone.
