Today, we take time to remember and honor those we lost on one of our country’s darkest days. We remember the sacrifices made. We remember those who responded that day and in the days, weeks, months, and years that followed. We remember those whose lives were forever changed by the events of that day. We think of those who don’t have the luxury of ever forgetting about 9/11 every day because of the holes it left in their lives. Today, we take time to remember. May we never forget.
