UPDATE: The NWS says it was 60 mph straight-line winds that caused the damage in Summerdale. That's tropical storm strength and almost a Cat 1 hurricane.

Still waiting to hear from NWS if it was straight-line winds or a twister that did damage in Summerdale Wednesday night but I think Deputy Fire Chief Michael Aaron got it right when he told me, "We were very lucky on this one."
