A proud graduate of Bishop State Community College, she earned her degree in Health Management and Technology in 2014 and immediately began her journey in the Medica

Karissa believes that knowledge is power, and she takes pride in equipping her clients with the understanding they need to maximize their benefits and access the resources available to them. Beyond her work in Medicare, Karissa is the co-owner of a plumbing company alongside her husband, Paul, with whom she has shared ten wonderful years of marriage. Together, they are raising four beautiful daughters — Ryleigh, Brennan, Addison Kate, and Emmeline — who keep family life full of excitement. Whether she’s cheering from the sidelines at football games, watching from the stands at the softball field, or applauding at dance recitals, Karissa embraces each moment with joy. When she’s not in the office or supporting her girls’ activities, you’ll likely find her traveling. Exploring new places is one of her favorite ways to create lasting memories, especially family trips to Disney!

Some Medicare beneficiaries are receiving new Medicare cards with new numbers. Medicare is sending these new cards with a letter explaining why a new number has been issued. If you aren’t sure if mail from Medicare is legitimate, call 1-800-Medicare and ask. AL SMP 1-800-243-5463
