Hump day Heritage with a side of Horsepower!
Here at PHF, we feel so strongly connected to our heritage that we put it in our name. We keep heritage close in one of our three core values, Family.
One of our advisors, Dalton, chooses to stay connected to his heritage by having fun on The Weekends tractor pulling. Dalton’s Grandpa Gary would have been pulling for over 60 years, and his father Darren started as soon as he was able. What used to be a hobby where farmers would pull their field tractors onto a trailer and run them at the county fair, has grown to a high horsepower, competitive event that is popular all across the country and especially here in the Midwest.
Dalton has taken up pulling in the last three years, while his sister Baileigh has been doing it for the better part of a decade! The sport, like all things, has seen many changes. However, heritage is still always on their minds. Competing, winning, having fun, all these things are important. But sticking to your roots and doing things the right way are always number 1. Whether you’re a young child learning responsibility and how to take care of things, or you are a seasoned veteran who is always learning more about yourself and how to handle adversity, tractor pulling is one of our family’s examples of how we stick to our roots, and remain proud of our heritage.

Lastly, if you think you know a CFP® that has more horsepower, let's see it!
