We are growing and looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team at Giles Financial Consulting LLC.

This is a real accounting role — not just data entry.

If you understand that clean books tell a story and drive business decisions, we want to talk to you.

📍 Houston, TX | Hybrid or Remote
💼 Full-Time | Part-Time | Contractor Available
💰 Pay based on experience

✅ What You'll Be Doing:
• Daily work in QuickBooks Online
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Accounts payable & receivable
• Monthly close support
• P&L and Balance Sheet prep
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies

✅ What We Need From You:
• QuickBooks Online experience
• Attention to detail (non-negotiable!)
• Ability to work independently
• Professional communication skills
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred

✅ What You'll Do:
• Manage daily priorities and keep operations running smoothly
• Handle emails, scheduling, and follow-ups
• Support social media content and posting
• Track compliance deadlines and send reminders
• Provide general administrative support

✅ What We're Looking For:
• 1–2 years of administrative or business support experience
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and a professional presence
• Self-motivated and reliable — you own your tasks
• Discreet and trustworthy in a financial services environment

💰 Pay: $10–$15/hour | 1099 Independent Contractor
