Supporting the Missoula community has always been at the heart of what we do. From helping protect open spaces with Five Valleys Land Trust to supporting important local organizations like the Missoula Food Bank and the Jadyn Fred Foundation, we’re proud to invest in the people, programs, and places that make our community stronger.

Last month, MECU celebrated our 30th Annual Meeting in the Governor’s Room at the Historic Florence, and what a special evening it was! With 94 attendees, the night brought together longtime members, founding leaders, and familiar faces who have helped shape MECU since the very beginning. Many of those in attendance were also part of our very first Annual Meeting back in 1997!⁠

We were honored to have original staff members John Dorsey, Leslie Womack, and Kelly Costello there for the celebration, along with former staff member Shannon Scanlan. Five members of the founding Board of Directors also joined us for the evening.⁠
⁠
A huge thank you as well to Kelly Costello, who came out of retirement to help decorate for this milestone event, just as she did for MECU’s first 25 annual meetings!⁠

And of course, the evening wouldn’t be complete without our cash door prizes… including one lucky member who has now won three years in a row!
