I’m a financial advisor with Edward Jones, a financial-services firm dedicated to serving the needs of individual investors. Growing up in Minot, North Dakota, I have always had a deep sense of community. This connection has grown into a lifelong passion for helping my hometown thrive and supporting the people who call it home. One way I found to give back was through volunteering. It started when
my kids were in grade school, where I was inspired to be a room parent, a “dance dad" (since my daughter loved to dance), taught Junior Achievement, and serve as an adult leader with the Boy Scouts. I currently serve on the Minot State University Alumni board. I am also an member of the Optimist Club of Minot and past treasurer for Metigoshe Ministries. Another way I contribute is by helping people prepare financially for their future. After graduating from Minot High School, I earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Minot State University. Right after graduation, I began my career at a local community bank, eventually rising to the position of vice president in the trust department. While there, I served on committees responsible for managing the department’s investments, implementing and maintaining 401(k) plans and guiding clients toward a secure retirement. Success is different for everyone, whether it is fulfilling lifelong dreams or being prepared for life’s unexpected challenges. I understand that achieving success requires thoughtful planning and ongoing effort at every stage of life. With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, I bring a strong background in helping clients navigate life’s challenges and opportunities. I have collaborated with clients through market difficulties and supported them during life’s pivotal moments. The key to emerging successfully from these experiences is having a solid financial strategy in place. This commitment to providing personalized comprehensive advice and guidance has led me to a career with Edward Jones, a company I believe provides clients with the most effective tools and strategies to help them achieve their life goals. Outside of work, my wife, Randi, and I enjoy camping, traveling and spending time with our children, Austin and Samantha, who live in Minnesota. One of our favorite places to visit is Disney World. It truly is "a small world", so let's build a plan to enjoy it.
