Last week I got to experience my first Strengthen the Strong luncheon, which happened to be on their 3-year anniversary (hold up a 3 for year 3). The people, energy, and food were unmatched! It was so refreshing to see so many smiling faces, some old and some new.

See you all again on October 23rd from 11:30-1 PM at Osborn 370 for the next one!

Last week I got to head back to Milwaukee for to celebrate wins, create new friendships, and learn more about how to strive to be the best advisors that each of us can be. This trip was by far the highlight of my time so far at Northwestern Mutual, and I can't wait for more to come.

The first thing we did at the start of Trailblazer was fill out a scavenger hunt sheet with names of other advisors that fit the criteria for that question (ex: who has 5+ pets) and whoever had the most "prospects" won a prize the next day. If you know me, you know that I'm an extremely competitive person, so of course, I had to win that scavenger hunt. Any guesses on how many people I was able to introduce myself to and meet within under 24 hours? 56 people!

I got to meet 56 incredibly kind souls, all with different backgrounds, from different states, and with different reasons why they're in this business (and that was only in the first 24 hours). To those of you who it was only a quick introduction and a signature, I thank you for contributing to my win and to those who I've formed deeper friendships with, I'm blessed that God has placed you in my life.

Special shout-outs to those I didn't get a picture with, with Isaac Johnson taking the spotlight for a very impactful spiritual conversation on our flight back to Minnesota. A tip I gained from him: if you're not sure how to tithe as a newer business owner with variable income, just take $100 (or whatever amount you’d like), write a Bible verse on it, and slide it under someone's door at your apartment complex each month, and keep moving down the hall as the months go on.

Sad to say that almost everyone featured in this post lives in states other than Minnesota, but absence makes the heart grow fonder, right? Looking forward to seeing you all at Regional & Annual Meeting!

The first weekend in August was filled was cute dogs, hard workouts, and both new (and old) things added to the weekend agenda.

Old:
- Boat day with my family on Lake Minnetonka.
- Sunday night Bible study (reading Ephesians 2 and learning about Jews and Gentiles).
- Got groceries from Aldi and prepped meals for the week (3.5oz of protein, 120g of carbs, and 85g of veggies / meal).

New:
- I took a workout class in the Lululemon Studio at MOA coached by Kaylie Flaminio Moeller (Strength to Empower).
- I also took a Pilates class (“Puppies & Pilates”) for the first time at 50th and France in Edina (thank you Rebecca Bell Sorenson, Hailey Haas, and Underdog Rescue MN).

What does a typical weekend look like for you? I encourage you to mix things up and try new things… as long as you still allow enough time to read your Bibles and make your meal prep. Happy Tuesday!

Second annual meeting in the books! We got to hear from tons of great speakers, such as the one and only Jesse Itzler, hang out with other advisors from across the US (Dante Montaque gets the honorable mention), and enjoy the beautiful Milwaukee weather.

Not only do advisors and their teams have the opportunity to grow in knowledge and skillset, but we can also grow in faith through the Christian Fellowship Community. Instead of a 6am breakfast, this year they decided to host a lunch, which allowed for a larger space for this event and that means that more people were able to hear the gospel (and there isn't anything better than that)!

Thank you to those who take the time and effort to plan such an incredible event; I can't wait to head back again next summer!

A couple of the Tonka Terns (Minnetonka Interns) and I, plus Joseph, at Wednesday's Network Day!

We enjoyed live music, food, and networking at the beautiful Nicollet Island Pavilion in Minneapolis. Thanks to the incredible speakers and those who planned the event; we all had a blast and can't wait for the next one!

Earth day gives me an excuse to post some pictures from my families trip to AZ a couple of weeks ago (yes I know this is a couple of days late, but better late than never)!

How cool is it that God not only created the Heavens and the Earth, but He also created each of us uniquely. I thank God every day for waking me up, so I can live another day and for the beautiful world that He has created!

The pictures below include some Petroglyphs found while on a hike, Montezuma's Castle, one of the many stops at the Petrified Forest, adventuring inside the Apache Death Cave off of Route 66, and a cool hole in a mountain that my siblings and I of course had to climb inside. Remember to hug your loved ones, have a mind filled with gratitude, and to read your Bibles! Happy Wednesday!

I got to head back to the bank yesterday to help at the 6th Annual Twin Cities Collegiate Sales Team Championship! There were hours of role plays, networking, & feedback given to those who were competing. Good luck to all the students who compete in the final round today, especially any gophers that got chosen to move on!

Swapped the work clothes with an old prom dress for the 2024 Recognition Gala a few weekends ago! I enjoyed introducing my plus one and meeting others, in addition to seeing great people get recognized for their impactful work.

Carter bought his suit instead of renting it though, so hopefully it still fits him next year ( ).

A work trip didn't happen if there isn't a post about it...

I headed down to the sunny Orlando, Florida earlier this month for our Regional Meeting. Tons of networking with friends both new and old, intriguing breakout sessions, and lots of great food. Didn't have time to stop at Disney sadly, but at least I could see the Tower of Terror in the distance (my favorite ride if you didn't already guess).

My only complaint is that it was only 10 degrees hotter in Florida than it was back in Minnesota!😅
