Kansas Farm Bureau has recognized 3,210 Century Farms and 132 Sesquicentennial Farms since their program inception. The 2025 application period is now open.

To qualify for recognition, the following criteria must be met:
• Applicant must be a member of Kansas Farm Bureau.
• Ownership within the same family for 100 years (Century Farm) or 150 years (Sesquicentennial Farm) or more by Dec. 31, 2025, with at least 80 acres of the original Kansas farmland.
• The present owner must be related to the original owner.
• The application must be submitted to the local county Farm Bureau office by May 15.

The B.R.A.K.E.S. Teen Pro-Active Driving School is a free, defensive driving program. The school is designed for teenagers, ages 15-19 (16-20 in NC) who already have a learner’s permit or driver’s license and have at least 30 hours of driving experience.
