At 21st Century Bank, we are proud to team up with our friends at WeCAN (Western Communities Action Network) for a Cold Weather Clothing Drive, and we need your help!

WeCAN is an incredible local organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families across our western communities to reach stability and self-sufficiency. To support their mission, we are collecting essential winter gear to ensure everyone—men, women, and kids of all ages—has what they need as the temperatures begin to drop.

Our yearly winter coat drive is officially underway - we are collecting new and gently used coats, boats and winter gear (hats, gloves, scarves). It is with profound sadness that 21st Century Bank shares the passing of our visionary leader, CEO, and Chairman of the Board, Tom Dolphin. Tom passed away peacefully following a brave battle with cancer.

For over 50 years, Tom was the heart and soul of our bank. He started his journey in 1976 at just 25 years old, taking the helm of Farmers State Bank of Cedar. Over the next five decades, he grew our community bank from $1.5 million to nearly $900 million in assets, always operating on the belief that a handshake sealed the deal and that relationships mattered above all else.

To Tom, a community bank’s true purpose was to act as a genuine partner to the people it served. His legacy extends far beyond our branch walls through his deep commitment to philanthropy—whether it was dedicating resources to fight homelessness and food insecurity, supporting the University of St. Thomas School of Law, or helping develop the 21st Century Bank Event Center in Rogers.

Tom's guiding motto to all of us was simple: “Make something of yourself.” He challenged everyone he met to find their unique purpose, work hard, and never just "mail it in." That spirit is permanently woven into the culture of our nearly 70 team members today.

While we mourn this immense loss, we also celebrate an extraordinary life. The foundation Tom built is rock solid, and 21st Century Bank will continue moving forward securely under the leadership of Bank President Jon Dolphin and our executive team.

Stepping Stone provides critical emergency shelter, support services, and pathways toward independence for adults experiencing homelessness across our region. A special recognition goes to Kathi Stone for her dual commitment as both a 21st Century Bank teammate and an active Stepping Stone Board Member, demonstrating how personal dedication can spark broader corporate action.

They spent time with residents, met members of our team, toured the shelter, and shared plenty of laughter along the way. Kathi told us she was especially struck by the people she met and the sense of connection she felt throughout the evening.

We’re grateful to Kathi, Carol, and Joan for giving their time and bringing such warmth to the shelter. Even better, they’re already talking about coming back.

🎪 Celebrate community and give back at the 26th Annual Loretto Fun Fest! 🎆

It's almost time for this year's Loretto Fun Fest, happening on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, starting at 3:00 p.m. at Loretto Lions Park!

It is going to be an action-packed day featuring a Medallion Hunt, the ACME Magic Factory, a First Responders softball game, and an amazing fireworks show at 8:30 p.m. Plus, all kids' activities—including inflatables, face painting, and carnival games—are completely FREE!

This year, 21st Century Bank is hosting the event's donation drive. We are asking our amazing community to help us collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations. You have two easy ways to give:

📍 Pre-Fest Drop-off: Visit our 21st Century Bank Loretto branch between September 1st and September 11th during regular business hours.

🎪 At the Fest: Bring your donations directly to the 21st Century Bank booth at the entrance of Loretto Lions Park on September 12th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
