Pfleger Insurance Our agency was started by my grandfather, Earl E. Pfleger in 1940. My father, Dan E. Pfleger, joined his father in the business in 1964 as a Nationwide agent.

Full Service Independent Insurance Agency representing Nationwide Insurance, Hagerty Insurance, National General Insurance, an Allstate Company, GEICO Insurance and Progressive Insurance. He was a representative for Farm Bureau Insurance/Nationwide Insurance for 32 years, retiring in 1972. Dan retired from Nationwide Insurance in 1997 after 33 years of service. Kevin E. Pfleger joined the business

in 1987 with his father and is currently operating the agency. Kevin is nearing his 34th year of service with the agency in November 2021. The agency is in it's 82nd year of continuous operation, all from beautiful Minford, Ohio. Beginning in 1998, the agency changed business philosophy and became an Independent Insurance Agency representing many fine companies, most with Ohio roots.

***COVID-19 (Coronavirus) UPDATE***

March 22, 2020

This afternoon, Gov. DeWine announced that all non-essential businesses will be ordered to close tomorrow night at midnight until April 6th in an effort to further blunt the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). OIA advocated that this order permit insurance agencies and companies to continue to operate as essential services during this time of uncertainty.

In this order, the business of insurance falls under Essential Businesses and Operations. This means that you can continue to operate but must do so under the Director of Health’s operating requirements.

Our agency will have revised hours of operation and would prefer appointments to be made in advance. Contact our agency using one or both of these telephone numbers: 740-820-2146 or 740-285-2148.

HOURS OF OPERATION

Noon-1p - Established for vulnerable populations that may be visiting the agency (Prefer by appointment)

1p-5p - General population (Prefer by appointment)
