📚💰 Building strong financial futures starts with our youngest learners.

Starting with Financial Literacy Month in April, Bank On Greater Milwaukee partnered with local financial institutions to bring financial literacy into Milwaukee into community spaces & classrooms through our Bank On Book Reads initiative.

A huge thank you to coalition members First Federal Bank, Prime Financial Credit Union, Great Midwest Bank, Evolve Church and Equitable Bank for volunteering your time to read and introduce important money concepts in a fun, engaging way.

Each student received a free book and goodies from our banking partners, while school staff received a Bank On Smart Money Guide to share with their families. Together, we're helping build a foundation of financial confidence that can last a lifetime!

This Spring was filled with opportunities to celebrate Financial Literacy Month, including community events, wealth-building resources, and a proclamation from Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley recognizing the importance of financial empowerment. Thank you to all of our coalition members and partners for making this month impactful!

🌟 Celebrating Small Business Week!

At Bank On Greater Milwaukee, we know small businesses are at the heart of strong, thriving communities. From local food vendors to entrepreneurs building their dreams, these businesses create jobs, culture, and opportunity across our city.

We’re proud to highlight some of the incredible small businesses featured at UEDA’s Carnival Milwaukee 2026, where over 25 diverse, locally owned vendors came together to share their talents and flavors with the community. 🍽️

This week and beyond, we encourage you to support small, support local, and invest in the businesses that make Milwaukee unique. View the list of this year's Food Tasting participants here: https://www.uedawi.org/uncategorized/2026-carnival-milwaukee/

💡 Smart Money Tip for Financial Literacy Month!

Set a monthly money date with your partner or family. Taking time to talk about spending, saving, and financial goals can help everyone stay informed and on the same page.
