You may have read that the federal government is ending Part D subsidies (Medicare Part D Premium Stabilization Demonstration Program) a year early, and as a result, the plans will need to adjust for this in the coming year.
In 2027, you will see changes in the form of increased premiums, deductibles and co-pays, and some medications that were covered in 2026 may be moved to a new Tier or not covered at all. The new Part D Max Out of Pocket for 2027 is $2,400.
Because of these changes, I recommend reviewing your plan to ensure you are in the best plan for your needs. This being said, if you do nothing...your plan will automatically renew with the changes outlined in the Annual Notice Of Change.
Additionally, all SilverScript Aetna plans are being discontinued statewide. If you or someone you know has one of those plans, you will need to find a new plan for 2027.
