Did you know that your statement closing date and your payment due date are two separate things?

Your statement closing date refers to the last day of your billing cycle versus your payment due date, which is the deadline by which you need to pay the credit card issuer for the billing cycle in order to avoid paying interest.

This is why you should not be paying individuals to do these fraudulent PPP loans.

📌 Womply has received requests and subpoenas for PPP applicant information from law enforcement, including the FBI, SBA, DOJ, and other agencies.
📌 it’s fraud to upload false tax forms that are contradicted by IRS data. This is easy to catch, and the punishment for this conduct can be severe!
📌 You may have received a request for additional documentation including to demonstrate your eligibility for a PPP loan. To make room for legitimate applicants, Womply or your lender may cancel your application or loan approval if you can’t comply quickly with such a request.
📌 Bank accounts associated with fraudulent applications will be banned and we will recommend to that bank that associated accounts be closed.
📌 Forgiveness will require more documentation
Given the increase in attempted fraud, Womply or your lender may require the submission of additional documentation when you seek loan forgiveness.

You know, the one where the cashier enticed you to apply for it so that you could save 30% on your current purchase? Yes, THAT one!

Well, if you're no longer using it, you might be tempted to cut it up and close it down...

DON'T DO IT!

Unless you're being charged some ridiculous annual fee to keep the card open, let it be.

Closing down old cards can drop your credit score drastically. Not only will closing the card down affect your utilization percentages, but it will also affect your age of credit history.

Everyone loves a good hack to get better results, faster! Although building a solid credit portfolio can take some time, here are a few "hacks" that can have you seeing results a whole lot quicker!

1. Keep your balances low. Ideally, you want to keep those balances below 30% to lower your credit utilization.

2. Use the credit you already have. It's always a great idea to make small purchases here and there to create more payment experiences. Your credit is based upon your ability to borrow and pay back debt.

3. Plan to rate shop all at once if you are looking to make a major purchase. If you are looking to purchase a home or vehicle, your credit may be pulled several times to shop the best rate. It's best to get all of your rate shopping done in a 2 week timespan.

⭐⭐When applying for a job, your credit history can uncover potential problems an employer would want to avoid:

⭐⭐ Lots of late payments could mean you don't have a strong work ethic or follow through on what you say. It can also be indicative that your time management skills are lacking.
