I’m thrilled to share that I recently helped a family close on their new home with the help of the Maryland Mortgage Program, securing $45,000 in down payment assistance! 💸 We were able to put 20% down and go with Conventional Financing.

This family had been under contract twice with another lender, and unfortunately, the financing fell through both times. But we didn’t give up! I worked hard to figure it out and get the job done, and now they’re officially homeowners! 🎉 No more worrying about rising rent prices or searching for a new rental property every few years.

I had the incredible opportunity to help a wonderful client, who is deaf, navigate the journey of buying a home! This experience brought new meaning to what I do every day.

We worked closely with interpreters to ensure every detail of the process was communicated clearly and effectively. From the mortgage pre-approval to closing, we made sure that the entire process was seamless, with no communication barriers in the way.

While it was a new challenge for me, coordinating with interpreters and finding new ways to connect with my client made the experience that much more rewarding. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love helping people achieve their dreams of homeownership. 🏠✨

Every home-buying journey is special, but this one really showed me the joy of doing something different. It’s all about going the extra mile to ensure that everyone—no matter what—has the opportunity to own a home.

Congratulations to these First Time Home Buyers! They were able to take advantage of the Maryland Mortgage Program to cover their down payment and part of their closing costs.

I never worked so hard to get a loan to close on time. This is the one that I went to the employer's office to ensure they completed the Verification of Employment correctly.

My processors thought I was nuts, but at the end of the day, it is my loan that I have to close. I will do everything in my power to do so.

But seeing those smiling faces at the settlement was worth it.

I helped this first-time homebuyer buy this amazing condo. We also paid off all her student loans and gave her $6,000 in down payment assistance. And we did this in 30 days.

There are some really cool programs out there. It's always fun when you get to use a fun one.

Congratulations to my first time home buyers who bought this wonderful Condo using our FHLB Grant program and received a $12,500 Grant!

Condos are a tricky animal. This condo was operating with less than appropriate insurance coverage for YEARS! However, my team shared the guidelines and the risk of them continuing with the absence of property insurance and they actually added insurance to cover the missing piece.

Not all mortgage companies are created equally! Make sure you work with one that has your best interests in mind.

Congratulations to Ms. Robinson on moving into her next home. We were able to utilize our bridge loan to pay off her current mortgage which allowed her to put over 20% down.

A lot of moving pieces, but the team at First Home was able to make it all happen!
