The office is closed today because of illness. I am sick with whatever is going around-sore throat, headache, nasal congestion, and fever. Kert has had a scratchy throat for the last couple of days. Hopefully that is all he will have. We have transferred the phone so we will be here if you need us. Be safe, stay warm, and stay healthy!

CST WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and
10 inches across most of the area, with locally higher amounts up to 14 inches in a few locations where snow bands develop.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas and central, east central, south central, southwest, and west central Missouri.
* WHEN...From midnight Monday Night to 6 AM CST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds may gust up to 20-30 mph, especially along the I-49 corridor, leading to blowing and drifting snow.

It's beautiful out there! The roads are also snow packed and every school between here and the office is closed. We will be working from home today. Call, email, or text if you need something. Don't get out on the roads unless you have to today. Play with the kids in the snow, do some baking, or watch a movie. Have a safe day! Winter will be over before you know it. 😉
