I was reading this article on inspiring home owners. 20% of home owners feel they will never save enough for a down payment and closing costs. 30% say it can take 5 years or more. 10% say a decade.

Comment on some good ideas to spread the word that first time home buyers can buy a home for as little as 3% down. Sonyma has a grant program that covers the 3% down payment.

People need 1% of their own funds to close. Let’s say we got a sellers concession to cover closing costs? Can it be done with $4,000 out of pocket on a $400,000 home?
