Jenkins County Farm Bureau was proud to host an JCMS and JCHS FFA Officer Breakfast during Agriculture Week. After a great breakfast, Rick Lane, AFMO with the Georgia Forestry Commission, shared valuable information about the different types of fires, when Forestry units should be contacted, how rangers work to stop fires from spreading, and the equipment they use in the field. He also explained the various roles within the forestry department and the responsibilities of each position. Thank you, Rick, for taking the time to speak with us!

Jenkins County Farm Bureau was proud to host an Ag Day for the 4th grade classes at Jenkins County Elementary School. This special day gave students the opportunity to learn more about agriculture and gain a deeper appreciation for the important role it plays in our daily lives.
